Box Slush Seshhh

The sun was shining and we were bored today so we decided to go shred the slush a bit. Met our friend Kenny out there and got to shoveling. Ended up with a couple small jumps, which I really didn't hit much cuz my leg is still sore from my rail crash last week. haha. We had a flat rail and a round skinny rail set up also, but our main fun was a mellow flat box we set up. It was super smooth and super fun!

One thing I love about our spring sessions is that I learn so much new stuff during that time! The snow is soft, we set up features however we want them so it's a better time to progress. Today I learned to do a grab while boardsliding a box, and I got better with my frontsides (which I didn't get a good pic of cuz the stupid camera died).

Spring park rules! Ha. Finally learned how to hit a rail from the side. Well, sort of, I tried 4 times, landed 1 of them. Nice bruise on my legs from the other 3 attempts. At least now I have a feel for it, and I'll have some more time to practice before the snow melts :)

Random Laugh.

So this has nothing to do with snow or shredding, but this just made me laugh out loud. I love my cat, Winter, to death and she's pulled half of the stunts that's in this video. Laugh and enjoy.

Ladies Park Night 3 & Spring Shreddin'

So I FINALLY got to go to a Ladies Park Night at App Ski Mtn. It was SO much fun! Ladies Park Night is just a night where they set up a girls specific park so we ladies can shred it up without dudes bothering us! :) The set up was fun. There was a small jump, maybe 10 ft. at the most, round rail, rainbow box, short fat box, and a long t-box. Everything was chill and I even won a pair of socks in the raffle! Ha. Last thing I need is socks, but oh well. It's free, right?!
